This career panel is hosted by the Global Health Undergraduate Programs and CALS Career Services, but all UW-Madison undergraduates are invited to register and attend.
Resource Navigator Internships with the Center for Patient Partnerships

Lane Hanson from the Center for Patient Partnerships will share information about local summer and semester-long internship opportunities working directly with community members and UW Health patients to connect them to social and legal resources. Students in the Resource Navigator Program also complete a 3 credit course (Legal St 473) alongside the internship, which counts as a field experience for students in the Certificate in Global Health and as a depth course for students in the Global Health Major. Students learn about the important links between basic needs and health, interact directly with patients to help them meet their needs, and learn important patient advocacy skills. Come join us to learn about this unique, high-impact opportunity and enjoy some free Ian’s pizza! Limited capacity – RSVP required!
Public Health Americorps/WAFCC Info Session

Americorps, in partnership with WAFCC, offers a living stipend and education awards for summer and gap-year volunteer postings in Wisconsin and throughout the United States for students interested in a variety of health careers.
